Events and Activities

July 2, 2017 - Celebrating Independence Day

Our 4th of July celebration will be held on Sunday, the 2nd of July this year. We're expanding activities to make it a day-long event. We'll kick-off at 1:00pm Central with a Campers' parade through the campground (anyone can come decorated and join the parade). Floats will be voted on in a few categories. After that, you can join us on the beach where we'll have live music, a bar, food and drink, and games for the kiddies. We'll hand out prizes for parade floats and round out the day with a firework show at dusk (around 9:15). The theme for our first ever Silver Lake Resort Parade will be "Famous Firsts". OLur Grand Marshall will be John Emanuelson. Now get your thinking caps on and decorate those bicycles, ATVs, dogs, babies, Grammas, whatever, then come down and join in the fun!

August 18th & 19th, 2017 - The Log Jam Music Festival at Silver Lake
Back To Our Roots. We're blending the roots of rock with the roots of the Floodwood Plains (logging) and turning it into a two-day party! There will be rock, Blues, Jazz, and Folk Friday night and all day Saturday. We will have food vendors, merchandise vendors, an adult beverage area, arts & crafts, and activities happening. There will be a local history area with logging type demos. Missy will be log rolling and she's willing to give lessons to anyone interested. We're still working to bring in more wood crafters - carvers, chainsaw carvers, whittlers, log furniture builders, etc, and are actively seeking artists to demo and sell your items. Please contact Pat at SilverLakePat@yahoo.com
