Description and Local Attractions
Seneca Lake, located near Cambridge and easily accessible from Interstates 70 and 77 is the largest of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Lakes with 3,550 acres of water surface. With a horsepower of 399, the lake is popular among water sport enthusiasts. Seneca Lake Park is an outdoor recreation paradise offering a swimming beach with water toys and planned family activities from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Open all year are campgrounds, hiking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas. With more than 500 campsites and family vacation cabins, Seneca Lake Park offers overnight accommodations that can range from a weekend, week or all summer long! A full service marina offers docking, boat sales, service and rentals, fuel, boating and fishing supplies, and dine-in restaurant with courtesy docking
Events and Activities
Weekly events are held throughout the camping season and are open to our campers and the community! Events include everything from nature hikes to kayak classes, as well as live music, BINGO, and movie nights. There is a wide variety of activities at Seneca Lake Park!
