Description and Local Attractions
Located on Hells Canyon Road, six miles downstream of Copperfield Park.
All Idaho Power campgrounds, parks, boat ramps and other recreation sites are now open.
Campgrounds fill up quickly. Reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure you will have a spot when you arrive.
Restroom buildings and showers remain closed until further notice. Portable restrooms or vault toilets are available at most sites. RV dump sites and the fish-cleaning station at Woodhead park are open.
We encourage all visitors to practice safe social-distancing and prevent the spread of disease by following guidelines from the https://www.cdc.gov/ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Please enjoy the outdoors safely, and remember to wear a safety vest when recreating in, on or around the water!
Day use in the park is free.
- 21 RV sites (parallel parking) with water and electric hookups (30-amp)
- 3 dry RV sites (in the boat ramp parking lot) with electric hookups
- 3 RV waterfront sites (parallel parking) – no water or electric hookups

Road status: Call 541-785-7251 to get a recorded status update about the road condition between Oxbow and Hells Canyon Dam. This is road is sometimes closed due to maintenance or road conditions.

Applicable state taxes will be added to all fees. Reservation fee is non-refundable.
Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival date for a refund of campsite fees. Follow these steps to cancel a reservation:
