Description and Local Attractions
Cougar Park is PacifiCorp’s smallest and most mellow campground on the Lewis River. As this is a tent only park, our visitor’s camping experience will certainly be a reconnection with nature. Cougar Park features groves of cedar trees and Cougar Creek runs through the middle out to Yale Reservoir of the Lewis River. The boat launch is small and oriented towards the confluence of the creek and Reservoir, so it is mostly used by nonmotorized watercraft. The day use picnic area features an ADA play structure that is fun for kids of all abilities. The Beaver Bay hiking trail connects Cougar Park with Beaver Bay Park.
